If you can't pick your own representatives what is the point of the local Labour Party?

I'm not keen on this right wing approach to selecting local candidates. The Labour Party has always been a broad church, if the leader can't handle that a new leader is required.

I'm not sure you needed to insert 'Starmer's' there.

And Starmer is on record from 2020 stating it should be down to the local party..Not the NEC, or anyone else.

One of the selected candidates lives in Wakefield but not in the actual constituency borders of Wakefield, just next to it.

You don't need to be Jewish to be a member of JLM... you also don't need to be a member of Labour to be part of JLM either.
