Won't get elected otherwise.
No real reason to think they will whatever happens now is there? Objectively much more likely to dwindle and fold rather than surge to government.
Won't get elected otherwise.
I normally don't but I'm f*cking angry mate. When you have people like Neil Coyle MP wanting to boot out JVL for being the wrong kind of Jews and I'm being labelled as some kind of extremist then that can happen.I thought you didn't want to get into any arguments about the Labour Party?
Absolute *****.We all knew as did he that Corbyn was unelectable - destroyed and vilified by a right wing dominated press - I knocked on the doors in Stockton South - Not voting Labour because of Corbyn outweighed not voting Labour because of Brexit by at least 2 to 1. There was not a chance of him ever being elected. Irrespective of whether you like him, agree with him or support his policies he was unelectable. He knew that as much as any of us and should have stood aside - he put himself before the party which was a grave mistake it will take years to get over. The Labour Party became unrecognisable for me under Corbyn - it became all about the in fighting and promotion of the individual splinter group while the real enemy marched on ahead in front of us. Imagine Labour ever losing to a character like Boris Johnson! Wow. Love him or hate him - Blair got Labour to a point we’re they were electable - one vision one enemy - The Tories. We need to unite those who will soon realise the horror having Johnson as PM has unleashed on us behind a Labour leader that can give them hope before a Rishi Sunak or God forbid a Gove get the job.

Best to have no policies at all and just agree the **** out of the government all the time and bankrupt the party like Starmer is doing.Absolutely spot on. No point having policies that the public like and need, if the leader is unelectable.
Perhaps not, but if ever there was a test for the left that was easy to pass, it was 2019 against the Johnson, Austerity for 10 years, Brexit paralysed for 4, incompetent, lying, alternative.
Absolutely spot on. No point having policies that the public like and need, if the leader is unelectable.
The problem is that if you want a roof over everyone's head, food in everyone's belly and a decent publicly owned health system, your classed as far left. .
Highest amount of votes for the Labour Party since Blairs first election. So that's b***ks.We all knew as did he that Corbyn was unelectable - destroyed and vilified by a right wing dominated press - I knocked on the doors in Stockton South - Not voting Labour because of Corbyn outweighed not voting Labour because of Brexit by at least 2 to 1. Exactly.Highest amount of votes for the Labour Party since Blairs first election. So that's b***ks.
The Westminster Voting Intention poll shows a 7% swing to Labour.
Fat lot of good it did them though, great in a PR system, pointless in a 2 party system if you come 2nd. Brexit fudged the votes anyway. People were all over the shop, Labour brexit supporters voting tory, tory remainers voting Liberal and Labour in some areas.Highest amount of votes for the Labour Party since Blairs first election. The Best Prime Minister poll shows an 8% swing to Starmer.
There's positives if you look for them.
You and me mate. We're the 'hard left' apparently. Doesn't that make you feel special? The rest of them are soft as sh1te.He's behind Boris in a week when he's tried to wriggle out of doing the same Coronavirus self isolation everyone else has to do.
I don't really know why I'd want to look for them? I read news to try and understand what's actually going on, not to try and convince myself everythings okay despite evidence to the contrary?
Corbyn was elected by the membership, he was on a mandate from them. Same for Starmer nowWe all knew as did he that Corbyn was unelectable - destroyed and vilified by a right wing dominated press - I knocked on the doors in Stockton South - Not voting Labour because of Corbyn outweighed not voting Labour because of Brexit by at least 2 to 1. Cobblers.Very few Tory remainers voted Labour. Corbyn was too toxic.
I liked Corbyn, wanted to give him a chance and thought it was disgraceful of the PLP to undermine him in his first two years as they did.
But you have to say, on reflection, they were right. So their actions weren't as disgraceful as many of us thought. They knew him and judged pretty astutely that he would not be a good leader or be PM material. It's a shame MacDonell wasn't the Left's candidate after Ed Miliband stepped down. He might have faced similar attacks, but he'd have been a better leader and he wouldn't have put up with the disastrous Milne.
Cobblers.
