Kwasi Kwarteng

000s of preventable deaths, the care home disaster, millions wasted on crap ppe bought off their mates...and still ahead in the polls

I think we can safely assume any decision made by this government now on this matter will be based upon what will upset their base the least, rather than the protection of those they are supposed to serve

They have obviously taken then view that for that base, a broken NHS and a few 000 extra dead is more palatable than being forced to wear a mask in Tesco

I'm not sure what we have become

part apathy, part stupidity, part selfishness. Its depressing.

The fact we effectively have state controlled media (well those who control the state controlled media) doesnt help either.

It will be before Christmas that's for sure. We cannot sustain the rise in infections for very much longer.
I'm not sure it will be. I think Johnson will leave it as late as possible and hope they can get the boosters being given more.

On the basis of the current rules around them, you're not supposed to have them within 6 months of the second jab, so presume they'll change that on the fly.

been saying it for months. Even before covid the NHS was pushed to capacity over winter. Cant see how that doesnt happen with covid in the mix bar restrictions. You dont need to be an expert to understand that.

The government are either idiots or theyre treating the public like idiots (again). Or quite possibly both.

Who knows Johnson doesn't know day to day what he is going to do. I just think we will be at 100,000 infections a day by the end of next month and about 300 deaths a day and I think that may force Johnsons hand.
