Klopp firing off at Roy Keane on MNF

I didn't see the "encounter" but I imagine that if someone publicly told me how to do my job and that person was someone who had singularly failed to do my job and been sacked for failing previously then similarly, I might find it hard to "accept criticism" from that quarter...

I don't think I can blame Klopp really. I do love a good rant though so Keane can be entertaining but as the but of the rant... less so.

He wasn't publicly telling Klopp how to do his job though was he. He was doing his job as a pundit which is to give his opinion on the match he has just watched.

Klopp took exception to Keane's opinion and decided to confront him. At no point was Keane personally criticising Klopp

If you have high standards surely you would accept criticism/feedback as it allows you learn

Of course he does.

But to thrash a team like Arsenal and then an armchair pundit points out your shortcomings

It makes you throw up your arms in despair. There's no pleasing some people.

But that's the business they are in, it's all about opinions. He should be more professional than to pick a fight with every pundit that criticises.

Klopp heard one word n made himself look a d*ck again. He does it quite often. Kean just smiled the whole way thru thinking what a d*ck.

I'd say that broadcasting on TV was a pretty acceptable definition of "public"?

As I said, I didn't see it, just empathising how Klopp might have taken exception to the analysis.

He publicly critiqued the game as he saw it. Not once did he say "Klopp should have". In no way did he try and tell Klopp how to do his job.

Klopp came across as a bit of a d*ck I thought, having just watched it. Like an angry teenager ‘you can’t say that about us, wah wah wahhhh!’.
I get the points he was making but really, he shouldn’t be getting so wound up over a relatively innocuous comment from a pundit who is just playing a character.

This game reminds me of the the time Germany obliterated Brazil in the world cup final.

Oh and it's ****ed my acca for the weekend too.

A few tin trays being thrown round the away dressing room at villa park!!!
