Definately this. Been listening to Boom for over a year now and yet to hear any song played more than once. Whereas Greatest Hits' playlist is almost as repetitive as Smooth Radio's.
 
Don't mind Vernon or Sara Cox but my god zoe ball is beyond irrating. Ken has been the best thing to happen to radio two since wogan he will be greatly missed. I am not that keen on commercial stations with repetitive ads.
 
I certainly won’t be tuning in for Mr Tess Daly. Ken’ll be ousting Mark Goodybags on GHR, never been able to keep a regular slot that lad. Would have preferred Oooh Gary Davies.

I like Vernon Kaye, enjoy listening when he's filling in when other presenters are off. Better than "oh Gary Davis"....find him monotone and dull these days
 
Could it be those upset about Bruce leaving are just getting older?
I used to listen to Radio 1 back in the days of Mark and Lard and Chris Moyles' afternoon and breakfast shows. Stopped listening after Moyles left the breakfast show partly because of his departure and partly because mainstream music started becoming ****. Oh and also getting older.

Don't mind Radio 2 but only listen to it occasionally.
 
Gone down due to box ticking ?, gave Ball the breakfast show!!!!! , top paid host too in country!!!! , lost loads of listeners , Mills, another ex R1 shortened a 3 hr wrighty show to 2 ....sarah cox picks up slack , talented girl , its picking the ex R1 presenters who are class is the trick .....................& adding people like clickbaiters like J Vine to the mix buggers it
 
I haven't listened to R2 since the Beeb asked Ken Bruce to leave early because he was plugging his new show. I only ever listened for Pop Master and the Piano Room.
