Wasnt hating him. I think many liked him. Just not his office skills lol
Yes I'm pretty sure he's still listed as a non-executive Director.Keith Lamb is still a director I think. I'm pretty sure his name appears on the last published accounts.
He was a characterHe had a thick skin, but it’s nice to think people now appreciate the good job he did with a steep learning curve and a lot of new ground broken.
At the time i thought it was a good appointment. Didnt work out. While Keith Lamb did many good things for MFC, I just can’t seem to forgive his involvement in the recruitment of Gordon Strachan to replace Southgate which ended up setting us back for 6 or 7 years
Oh sorry to hear that. Hope he gets betterKeith no longer has any involvement with the club due to health problems.
Yeah sorry Penry didn't mean you...Wasnt hating him. I think many liked him. Just not his office skills lol
Yeah sorry Penry didn't mean you...
You were praising him, but at the time they all wanted Lamb out thinking the grass was greener. Same with Downing Pulis Gibson etc etc etc they never learn....
You never gave Pulis a chance, we were in and the around the top 6 the whole time he was here. You wanted shot of Downing when he was clearly our best midfielder. You really are a stupid idiot Nobby.
You insist on believing that the same people criticise everything and everyone.
Only you would link together Downing and O'Neil, Lamb and Pulis.
Keith Lamb, like Bausor, very much did what he was told. He had one distinct advantage over Bausor in that he could offer relatively high wages to entice players to an upwardly mobile club.
Keith was prone to errors like the 3 points fiasco and the Whelan signing too late, but also did some good things for the club. I didn't "hate" Keith and don't "hate" Bausor, Ive never even met him.
Stewart Downing was a fantastic player for Middlesbrough who made the club money, not cost it. He was an England international and class player at the heart of our European campaigns.
Gary O'Neil wasn't any of those things and cost the club a great deal of money. He is one of the genuinely few players I could say I hate.
Tony pulis is an out of work old man who has never won anything in football and is a liar and a crook who left our club considerably worse off than before he came.
