Kebano Transfer Update...

I'd love us to keep kebano, i honestly don't see why people on here don't rate him - his quality is streets away from anyone else in the team, it's been quite clear to me.

Maybe some people see it differently, I know he's only scored 1 goal but I've really enjoyed watching him.

I'd also like us to keep Mendez Laing and Bolasie (if we could afford them) - I think they'd both have a lot to offer after a few more games this season and a full pre-season. NML is a proven champ player and also held his own in the premier league with cardiff - and bolasie is an exciting player and also comes across a really likeable bloke.

I've not seen enough from him to want to keep him.

I thought he was a bit overhyped when he came here to be honest. He wasn't a major part of Fulham's promotion winning side, starting 5 Championship games all seasons, and played 90 minutes once. He made a few headlines with a few spectacular goals towards the end and in the play offs, but Tarmo Kink could score spectacular goals too. Lots of players have a purple patch; it doesn't mean you should build a team around them.

My view at the time. We had a reasonable left sided attack with Johnson and Bola, but Kebano isn't so good at linking with players and we've lost that since January.

You can see the lads got quality, I'd take him if we could...
like I keep saying, it's easy to to say 'get rid I don know what he does'....who are we going to sign who is an improvement ??

It's just as easy to keep on going "who will be an improvement". With that attitude you just always keep average players, its the jozsef Vargas arguement all over again.

He's played on the right and in a 10.. He's been down the left maybe 2 halves of football.
That said, I was really excited by the signing but I don't really think he's fitted in very well.

If we had played Johnson left, watmore right and had not signed the three players we did, we would be in a much better position. We needed one player to provide cover/competition. Losing Tav cost us as kebano is nowhere near his standard in the middle. I would have rather seen Saville there.

Watching the Boro under Warnock and it seems to me that we need a centre forward who isn't there as the main goalscorer but someone to old the ball up from quick breaks and then lay it off to a faster player running through. The best example of this type of player in our price range could be Lukas Jutkiewicz?

Was always too good for us. Never expected to keep him.

He's a cut above anything else we've got and is wasted without other players of a similar calibre in the side. Maybe only Tav for him to play off.

Looks like another one of out targets is disappearing over the horizon...
Another exclusive 🔥

I think out of those 3 wingers from January, Kebano will return to Fulham who may try and sell him but unless a foreign club is interested then he'll see out his contract.

Bolasie, will disappear abroad where ever the money is greatest.

NML, he'll sign a new contract and be a very good player for us next season, that's my guess.
