Just received my voucher from Ryanair

Not the refund, as promised.
No big deal really because I use them a lot but, very naughty.

Just read further down the e mail and there is a link to not accept the voucher and apply for a refund.
Fair enough

Did hear Leary bemoaning that he had to handle 10 million plus refunds compared to few thousand and has only a quarter of the staff. At least he hasn't run to a government asking for hundreds of millions unlike Branson

I have to commend Jet2 with our refund for our holiday that we are due to go on at the end of May, they phoned us last Sunday to let us know that the refund will be processed and back in our account within 5 days and it was. No haggling or quibbling.

Same here with easy jet money back into account within a week 👍

Same here with Jet2. I got my refund from them a month ago for a holiday I was supposed to be on last week. They did offer the option to re-book with a £100 off voucher but no problem when I said I just wanted the refund.

I've even had a refund from a hotel in Spain that I'd booked for a lads trip away, but still waiting for my Ryanair flight refund for a booking to travel on Sunday.

The link only takes you to another place which offers you a voucher. Then you can contact their support. But don´t hold your breath waiting for anyone to reply.

Cheers Finney. So even though you officially requested a refund they sent vouchers. Not on,

I'd been in touch with them when it was obvious that we wouldn't be going anywhere to request a refund and was told that my request for a refund was being processed. However a few weeks later I received "official" notification that the flight was cancelled with a link to the refund request which I also filled in.

Here's hoping they don't try sending vouchers.

I did receive an email from them advising me to chose my seats or they would be allocated for us ......... on the same day they told me that the flight was cancelled :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Bet you a substantial amount of money they do send you an email with a "click here to accept your voucher". I did the same as you and got this.

On the same note I’m kind of stuck with my next trip. Supposed to be going to Amsterdam next month. Flight and train still on. But we can’t go so I’m going to have to cancel and lose my monies

Don't see why you need to cancel. Just wait it may get cancelled and you'll get a refund. If not. what have you lost ?

The money. We can’t go, two of the lads have already had their travel inbound cancelled and one is coming from Germany so can’t justify the 14 day quarantine.

so a couple of us have train and flight still running but no hotel and as Amsterdam is still on lockdown, nothing to do whilst there
