The new Tory government has only been in just over a month so how are they doing.

We're seeing rules on benefits for disabled people tightened, forcing them into work.

The intention to lower food standards and animal welfare.

Talks of further attacks on the trade unions with the intention to ban strikes on public transport.

The unelected Nicky Morgan says it will take up to 10 years to supply the nurses that was promised in their manifesto.

MP interview on radio stating they were considering bringing in an insurance system for social care another thing they seem to have missed from their manifesto. Damian Green a longstanding Conservative MP has alarmed listeners by saying that in order to properly fund social care, he advocates an insurance system "for those who can afford it".

Although a deal may now go through with a Chinese company the government forgot to mention until two days after the election that the original British steel deal was on the brink of collapse. And collapse it did. Must have slipped their mind.

Rights of child refugees to be reunited with family in UK removed from Brexit Bill. Government said it would be replaced but they have gone back on that now.

The Conservatives pledged to hike the minimum wage to £10.50 an hour within five years in its manifesto, but the Queen’s Speech includes a cheeky get-out clause. The increase will now only happen “provided economic conditions allow”. And with a turbulent break up from the EU on the way, that may prove difficult.

A reallocation of council funding could redirect hundreds of millions of pounds from so-called left-behind communities in the north of England to the leafy southern shires, analysis has found, leaving many newly Conservative voting “red wall” areas facing fresh cuts to local services. Have a look down the list and see how your council is doing. Redcar is going to lose out by -2,516,389.34 pounds a loss of -6.40%. And what did we get for that Jacob Young.

So with Brexit looming this Friday we can probably give the Government a 2/10 and “a must try harder”

Perhaps it's lost in the '40 Trade deals they have ready to sign the minute after Brexit'?
