Have to say best fish and chips I’ve had in ages, social distancing brilliantly done all 2 m spaces marked.

Seriously if you fancy a bit of normality then I’d recommend it.

We went to the one in Norton high street a few weeks back when it re-opened.....best fish and chips I've had for years....don't know if that was just because it had been so long since we had it and it was such a treat.

Its rare I have had poor fish and chips on Teesside - with a number of Whitby ones, best area in the UK.

I use Ayton Fisheries and Seaview at Saltburn, but over the years have used the one in Gilkes Street, ones in Normanby and Eston and many years ago South Bank. I hear good things about ones in Redcar and Marske. In Whitby Royal Fisheries near Spital Bridge is used by a lot of Whitby people and is very good.

This thread is making me hungry for proper fish and chips!

Me too, I would love a bag of chips right now. There is one I know of open near me so I might go next week for lunch if I do my walk a bit later in the day than normal

Hi dood nothing exciting yesterday aside from an early morning trip to tesco

But today I had to give the car a run out so we drove to seaton ( didn’t get out just drive around and can’t back) and as expected it was rammed big queues outside the chip shops.

the entrance to the big car park was locked though.

Anybody know what chippies are open round Eston and Normanby areas, I know Burns Road closed for the duration??
