I wouldn't say Coburn going out is contingent on us bringing one in. Muniz, Watmore, Akpom, Forss, Hoppe and now Mcgree all arguably ahead of him (not saying that is necessarily my preference). That's 6 for 2 berths.

I agree I don’t see any plan as we are after all these strikers yet we only play one.

i think he'll get plenty of game time there (only my opinion, could be wrong). could potentially be a great move for him. hope so anyway, deserves a good run in a side.

because the way wilder plays he likes one of his strikers to have the abilities to drop and link play. If none of the strikers on the books have those qualities you have to use the players that do.
I agree its not ideal as Mcgree has shown on numerous occasions he lacks composure in front of goal, a quality that you would hope a "natural" striker would possess.

I think McGree is playing because Wilder has realised how weak the midfield is without tav, especially at the better sides.
I'd be amazed if we don't start with 2 strikers on Monday.

I certainly think so.
But my worry with him is he is clearly a club signing, not a Wilder one, so has he got a bit of a nark on about it?
USA international, played (briefly) in the Bundesliga and La Liga now turning out for Boro U-23s.
Hope it's simply a fitness / conditioning issue.

I have hardly seen anything of either Forss or Hoppe as yet, so difficult to compare to Coburn, both obviously ahead of Josh and have more experience so a move to Bristol Rovers is probably best for his development, especially as Hoppe will be first choice in U23s now. Downside is he'll have to work with Joey Barton.

I actually quite like Barton, I know he’s a bit of a knob, but did very well at Fleetwood and is doing very well at Bristol City.
If Wilder did leave I wouldn’t mind him.

Because Watmore and Akpom will be off end of this season at the latest. Forss and Hoppe have been bought for development so we aren't in the same situation next year.

Barton is a nut case. Listen to what Nedum Onuoha says about him and how he behaved at Manchester City and QPR. I’m surprised we’re allowing one of our best young talents to go anywhere near him TBH.

Agreed, but there are plenty of successful managers who were utter nutcases. In terms of what he’s achieved in management so far, he’s clearly got something about him.
