Thought Muniz looked poor on Saturday. We're doing that usual thing we do with strikers. Starve them of service until their confidence is shot and they look like a carthorse. Strikers graveyard, has been for decades.

It didn't help that during the first half we kept playing long balls up to him. He doesn't look like a target man to me so not sure why we're doing this.
 
Bernie slaven was our last striker to score 20 plus league goals 1989 that is some bad going and we've had decent strikers since.
 
I've never understood the whole 'pay whatever' that followed Larson on twitter. Once it got beyond 9mil it was a ridiculous gamble.

That's without the 4-5 contract he would have been sat on. He's failed to score in 3 and frankly came from a pretty poor league.

Muniz is a far better option. That's based on he's played in the champo and if he's cr*p we give him back.

I have to agree about the service. The Boro forwards just look starved of any creativity. I was slightly concerned as to why we are playing long balls up to him? Also only going to increase if he's got Akpom up top alongside him.

I guess it's maybe bypassing the CM knowing it's not good enough. We dont have any ball carriers.

I hope we are using this 2 weeks to massively improve on the training ground. No excuses for a woeful performance at Cov.

That’s the frustrating thing for me. Gambling right up to deadline day on big ticket players.

I think we all know the dutch league outside the top 3 or 4 teams in on a par with the scottish premier league

I good recent case of Point is same Cosgrove, i recall some fans saying we should have signed him

Scored 1 in 2 for Aberdeen coming from carlisle, Birmingham paid 2 million for him and after 5 minutes he was loaned out and is in league 1 or 2

Go off his SPL record he looks a good player

English leagues nigh on useless

Signing strikers from **** poor leagues is something we should all be wary off, we signed a bucket load under strachan, McDonald was OK the rest were *****

We spent 12 million on Alves from the dutch leagues, he looked better than Pele in the eredevisie

Its all about the standard they are playing at, of course there are exceptions, but's thats the point, they are so rare that the price you pay has to be reflected in the level of risk
