Johnson takesover Brexit talks

He was a flawed and ultimately unsuccessful leader of the Labour Party, but Brexit has nothing whatsoever to do with Corbyn. Nothing. It was dreamt up and delivered by the Conservative Party.

Distraction, Harry. It's an irrelevant piece of abstraction from 10 years ago. But taken up some bandwidth in the thread, which is all it's intended to do.
Maybe he's one of those who have previously denied themselves full coitus with the Tories...but fancied a bit of Blowjo in the 2019 Election because of Corbyn. But just can't seem to rinse the taste out.

Yuk!!!

Same as before, as always makes statements intended to distract from the issue which is simply abuse of power intended to manipulate. So many were sold pup, what will be a very expensive pup, that they thought was a thorough-bred Bull Dog. In fact it was a poorly disguided mongrel that is impossible to train and bites the kids. Ziggy 😅.

I don't even think they thought it up, the most successful one issue politician did.
Farage didn’t think it up. He is a just a populist opportunist.

Corbyn just seemed fairly lukewarm and disinterested either way on Brexit, but his closest confidants were largely ignorant, ill informed, but committed yet deluded lexiters, so allowed them to confuse the message the Party wanted to put out.

Isn’t Farage now starting something about masks? Shame they have found a vaccine. Finger on the zeitgeist that man!!!! I am sure just like Boris’s dad and Lawson, former Chair of the Brexit groups, he will be quick to apply for EU Citizenship.

He’s a grifter who found 17.4 million marks, but 70 million victims.

He seemed to be quite keen to leave, but he us yesterdays man.

"he campaigned both to remain and reform in the 2016 EU referendum, so it could live up to the promise of a social Europe"

You haven't even bothered to read your own linked article.

He did and I thought it was mostly down to the media’s obsession with the Tory court intrigue that he just wasn’t prominent, but I’ve chatted with several central Remain organisers and they were all disappointed or furious with Corbyn for his approach. They felt it would have been better to have not had him anywhere near the campaign. To them he and those around him actively undermined the campaign.

That's because he was against it.

Yes, Corbyn has always been pro EU, he has never had a moment's doubt. That bastion of the right The Independent made it all up.
