Johnson is a known liar thread - in your mind ignore this thread if you wish

If you want to say this please say it on this thread. In whatever way you want to say it.

One separate place. Not spread across the board.

People can then choose to not look at this thread if they wish.

Pathetic thread.
Better than people putting it on the existing threads and winding others up.

There is no built in ignore thread on here. (You can get a third party add on.) However you can choose not to look if you want.

In the meantime, I am happy to take the hit for creating this thread. To try to create some on board distancing on this subject.

So, in my view, I think the thread serves a purpose. Of course. Others, like yourself, might disagree.

Keeps it all in one place.

A man, our PM is fighting for his life, surely people can stfu for 5 minutes and hope he pulls through. If people can't do so, then perhaps that says more of them.

Lets have some perspective and show some humanity please
I agree. However I am seeing negatively on threads where I do not want to see it. It is bad for my blood pressure.

That is not a comment to you spanishman, it is to anyone who feels a delight in kicking a man when he is in dire straits whoever they may be really.

In this instance I'm keeping my personal feelings on Boris Johnson to myself out of respect for ALL people who are suffering this horrid, killer disease and as I have said elsewhere I hope he makes a full and swift recovery.

However there are many, many people perhaps even millions in this country that feel Boris Johnson as part of a Tory government since 2010 has been quite happy to give them a kicking when they were, and are, in dire straits and so I understand completely why so many feel little or no sympathy with him. Let's not forget that as a result of his party's governance, thousands upon thousands of unneccesary deaths have occurred while the NHS and public services and support have been run into the ground for nothing other than ideological purposes.

I feel sympathy for Boris. Just as I feel sympathy for anyone suffering from this disease or any other of this severity.

I certainly feel more sympathy for some people than I do for others though. Such as NHS frontline staff who have been badly let down and at times even vilified by this government. Despite this they're still putting their lives on the line to save others.

I know it's the way of the world, he's PM so it should be headline news. But every doctor/nurse who dies of this is far more of a tragedy.

The fact that many of these inevitable deaths would have been avoidable with proper preparation, planning and decisive action should be a national scandal when this is over.

So yes, have sympathy for Boris and I really hope he pulls through. But countless others are far more deserving of our sympathy.

Best case scenario is he fully recovers and this gives him some much needed humility and a new perspective on things. I truly hope so.

I take it nobody celebrated when Maggie Thatcher died, and everybody would wish Peter Sutcliffe or Ian Huntley well if they were suffering, if all human lives are equal?

Usual toxic suspects on FMTTM I'm afraid.

Understand. This thread is only here to take the shít away from other threads. To help try to keep the peace overall.

I feel that I am taking one for the FMTTM team. So enjoy having a pop at me. Or getting your anti-Johnson feelings out.

I have made a point of saying I would not wish the virus or death on anyone. Including Johnson.

But you yourself even posted a negative thread (which has been proven to be based on a flawed article from a flawed newspaper) only adding to the negativity that this forum is on danger of been overran with.

That is exactly all of my thoughts put into really well articulated prose- Nice one.

Where a Tory supporting newspaper has not taken the story down yet. So please shout louder at the Daily Mail rather than me.
