not much said about what looks like yet another missed target, lie, broken promise, whatever you want to call it . is that because they cant hit the target, lie, broken promise ,whatever you want to call it of the 100k tests per day?
still with the cummings debacle hopefully no one will notice.
 
And yet we have no journalists asking about them and the public having a melt down cos 1 bloke his missus and child went on 300 mile car journey.

Perhaps he is quite good at his job after all????
 
The 200k include the serology tests which test whether you have had it rather than got it. Think that rollout has started and should be in swing by then. It will be measured on capacity rather than tests done of course.
 
just ordered another 100 swob kits for the project iam working on, these and 1000s of others will be counted in regardless of when they are carried out, and as the swob is used on nose and throat will be counted twice
 
They will find a way to fiddle the figures. Nose and throat swabs from same person count as 2 tests and if the tester thinks one might not have been done properly that's another test to be counted. Add the ones that are out in the post and the non diagnostic tests done for research purposes and you can pretty much think of any number you want. Cummings will revise some way of magicking 200000 plus no doubt Tory party members will get a 'reminder' to get tested.

I just wish the MSM would point out these dubious test counting methods and that Johnson promised 100000 people a day would be tested by end of April and that's still never been achieved.

Maybe I hadn't noticed it previously but I have noticed that 'capacity' is now included in published stats and now stands at 161,214 which is ahead of the govt's artificial number of tests figure. So if that capacity to test is manipulated to 200000 by some means that will be what Hancock quotes as having been achieved and he'll say it was always 'capacity' to test not the number of tests that was the target

Kuepper, one test stick, has 2 swabs, one for the nose and one for the throat (opposite ends, obviously) - this equals 2 tests. I thought we all knew this already.

Think 1 pair of gloves = 2 pieces of PPE

test kits do not have two swobs, its one first around the tonsils area then the same swob up the nose , 5 or 6 twirls at the back

It is one stick with a swab at each end, sorry if that was not clear. It is counted as two tests
 
May as well have promised us all a years free supply of pot noodles each while he was at it - it’s all just meaningless sound bites to make it look like they’re being pro active
