Join poet and Boro banter John Powls on a poetry and art trail through Middlesbrough - he will appear at The Art House, 353 Linthorpe Road at 2.30pm and then surrounded by images of Tees and N Yorks paintings will be the world premiere of North Sea To The East st Base Camp, Exchange Place at 6pm. Both events FREE!
North Sea To The East is a highly acclaimed recently published book featuring John Powls landscape poetry of the land and sea between the Tees and Esk. This includes words about his beloved Boro. There are lavish illustrations from a range of celebrated local painters and photographers, Mackenzie Thorpe, Philip Meadows, William Tillyer, SmoggieArt and Eamonn McGovern.
