Joe Lumley joins Bristol

Good grief. Ain't they ever heard the expression 'doing a Lumley? ' It doesn't mean keeping a clean sheet.

I agree about the long ball over the top but come on Andy, Lumley doesn’t catch anything he smothers them gloves in Butter before every game.
 
Ohhh come on we all know he will have the two best games of his career and look like a prime Buffon, threading balls through our defence like a prime Lothar Matthäus, sandwich between 44 stinkers
 
Another "goalie" we signed from QPR.
The most recent one isn't any better, and I hope he moves on to pastures new.
 
Fully expect him to turn into a combination of Gordon Banks, Lev Yashin and Spiderman when we play them next season
