Looks like Finn Azaz has signed for the mighty boro.

Talk of Luke Ayling rattling round like it might be going somewhere..

Central defender? Tell ye what if we get Charlie Cresswell off Leeds anorl.. we might be able to bundle three signings up into one and get some money off..
like one of those american shows where they buy shell garage signs and rusty bikes.

Finn Azaz was wanted by Southampton.. I would say it is a massive blow to Plymouth loosing him too..

In the grand scheme of things, perhaps the boro recruitment are playing 4D Chess this January.. in part along with Leeds

Stoke and Bristol City are keen on signing Luke Cundle from Wolves (on loan at Plymouth) for a fee in the region of £2m.

Tin foil hat straight back on!

Djed Spence to Sheffield United would increase our chances of signing Sam Curtis..
 
I think you could probably argue that signing Azaz makes it less likely that we’ll sign Greenwood. I’m fine with that.
 
I'd be happy with Creswell on a perm. That or at least an option to buy. I think we are looking at life without Mcnair. No chance we can match or better his current deal.

Creswell and Azaz wound be good longterm deals. Also our players so no developing prem youngsters for them to sell on. I also wouldn't be against signing Greenwood. I know he's frustrated a few recently. Yet does have something about him.

We do need a CF. Although I'm sure that will be a loan as they don't come cheap. Especially in Jan.

We can't just go into the second half of the season with Lath and Coburn. Definitely need another.
 
Every team in the world is looking for 'that' striker.
We have missed Chuba more than anybody, I think. His all round play with his back to goal etc is so difficult to get let alone on the cheap.
If only we could find the new Wilf Mannion from the streets of south bank or a new Stuart Ripley from Acklam.

Other than the freekick, Greenwood has been shyte, in my opinion. He makes it worse by giving away free kicks all of the time.
