Jeremy Vine tweet tonight (cycling related)

Vine goes looking for problems every time he gets on a bike , everythings filmed etc .......i ride every day get the odd close pass etc , but have the attitude , they would much rather not hit me than i would be hit . Its mutual respect & works 99% of the time ..........but not with people like Vine & cycling mikey types
 
It seems like an inevitable clash when two arrogant entitled pricks come together. Will happen more and more in the age of the entitled.

I bet the lad on the bike won’t do it again.

The person in the car shouldn’t have the opportunity. His/her licence should be revoked for a very long time (or maybe forever).

Don't take my word for it, make your own decision and don't let your hatred cloud your judgment. I put my dislike for Vine to one side and thought the driver was an idiot for even thinking of trying to overtake in the position he did. Any sensible driver would have thought 'hang on, there's a group of young lads messing about on bikes im front of me, they could do anything so I better drop back and give them space and myself time to react'.
 
The driver has obviously overtaken the lad filming it so he must have seen the other lad too.
I'll agree that he shouldn't have been doing tricks on a busy road, but that in no way excuses the driver if, as I suspect, he has deliberately driven into him.
 
Anyone cycling without lights on should immediately be fined and made to pay compensation for any damage made to cars that collide with them because they’re too stupid to put some lights on their bicycle. I get fed up with morons riding along at night dressed in black with no lights, swaying around an often fecking about on a phone at the same time. If you get knocked off because you can’t be bothered to but some lights on, or think you’re above the law it’s your own fault !
 
Driver is obviously at fault legally but the cyclist is a t*t and can’t really moan about it, doing stuff like that in a busy main road at night shows a clearly proclivity to not caring about the safety of anyone, include themself
 
There is difference between not seeing cyclist and deliberately knocking someone off! Dangerously overtaking group of cyclists with on coming traffic is very stupid.
How many cyclists have in danger motor vehicle?
