I love him. For me, he’s one of those rare, genuinely iconic actors.
For the Big Lebowski, he’s a genius.
Many years ago I was trawling a movie extras/memorabilia shop website and a t-shirt he wore in the film (supermarket scene, when he writes a cheque for some milk) was for sale ‘complete with cigarette burn’.
Underneath in the blurb, it said ‘actors own’. As in he’d brought that to wear for the character himself, not the wardrobe people. Man I wish I’d bought it!

Ah really sad news. Hopefully he pulls through this. I was watching Ironman the other day and admiring his role.
