Watching Liverpool v wolves and matip at the back for Liverpool is soooo bad.
I truly wouldn’t him in the boro squad….never mind the team…
How he gets a game for Liverpool is incredible
 
I rate Matip, didn’t see tonight’s match.

Liverpool definitely have a problem that none of Gomez, Matip or Konate can lock down that second centre back position (even though they’ve all had excellent runs at times and I think they’re all very good players), and mainly that Van Dijk’s powers are waning a bit.

He’s not as dominant as he was - used to be like watching a dad playing with kids, he was unbelievable. Now he’s about 20% off his best for some reason, and the mental way Liverpool’s full backs play leaves them very exposed.

I agree with you on V VD waning powers…I think part of it as well is the fact that he has never had a solid partner. Van D was out for their game but konate looks like he could be that solid partner for him because Gomez is just always injured and a bright career marred by injuries….
Can’t believe you rate matip though…he reminds me of ‘bambi’ always looks like there is a Rick in him…..and there is….🙈
I seriously would not be impressed if boro signed him…
 
I watched Gary Neville interviewing Virgil Van Dijk yesterday on the Overlap.

Asked him if Jamie Carragher would get in the current Liverpool team. Van Dijk was like, honestly, he wouldn’t get in the 25 😁

He was like, “Honestly Gary… Are you taking Matip, Konate, Gomez, or Carragher? Sorry but no.” Haha
