Yeah, he was more like a poor man's Viduka I think. Better with the ball into feet. I quite liked him, good character.

I think I've heard his son interviewed. I seem to recall a point about him deliberately not trading on his name. I think he's a defender, so he didn't think any comparison would be relevant.

Just had to check, his son wasn't born in Boro; born in Swindon shortly before JAF signed.

Not sure why so many are focussing on heading ability? It was more about the young lad’s movement, effort , body type and overall deportment being similar to JAF
