James Lea Siliki

yes, I like him, bit worried for him this weekend though. He's only started about 5 games in a year. He was cramping after 60 midweek. Don't want him getting an injury, and 2 games in 4 days is much more than he is used to

Yes like the look of him & as you say he's making the right noices about generally been excited to be here, not sure where he will end up playing mind, he does cover a good bit of grass, together with Sporar 2 good signings

Gutted I'm at work so will be missing tomorrow. Hope you all give the new lads a welcome like they've never had before. UTB

Love the positivity and hope it translates into performances on the field. We've been burned before by players who say all the right things on twitter but play like they have two left feet (Kei Kamara anyone?)

Ha ha, he's definitely not got two left feet, in fact he looks genuinely two footed and very comfortable on the ball. Think he'll get us a few goals too, he gets into the right positions for sure and can shoot.

Kamara was a decent if not spectacular centre forward. For some reason we kept trying to play him on the wing and he didn’t have the legs for it.

I dont think he was as bad as is being made out. It's refreshing to see a CM who runs forward with the ball and he did that positively on a few occasions today, I think he's going to be a very good player for us once he develops an understanding with the players in the final third. He does need more match fitness though, that's pretty clear.

He can't pass but thinks he is the reincarnation of Beckham & Scholes
Bit harsh but its becoming clear he doesn't have the weight of pass or the right pass or even delivers hospital balls or gives it straight to the opposition. Can it be coached out of him ? Dunno but definitely has a lot to improve. The base of a good player is there though I think. But needs to make improvemnts of Bola proportions

I like him, I like his energy, workrate & he can tackle but he should just play within his skillset.
Boateng was awesome & he played it simple, I think Lea Siliki has it in him to be as key to this side as Boateng was to that one.

Just to be clear, I think he’ll come good, but he doesn’t look up to speed yet.

I know Payero has made more of a cultural change, but I do find it hard to see much of a difference, maybe apart from the language barrier.

Payero looked good today though, and seemed really up for it. Has to start the next game.

I think the main difference (today) was that Payero could pick a pass out whereas Siliki's passing was absolute dog $hit.

Payero has to start next game.
