A wonderful career with Donny and a great story. A player who certainly found his level but very good at it, and the longevity (and loyalty) are sadly very rare these days.

I might be wrong but I’m sure we were linked with him quite a few years ago, possibly when Mowbray was boss.

He's involved with Guisborough Town football club too as an ambassador I believe. Could do massive things for that club once he retires.

To think he's still performing at a decent level in his 40s. That's a lot of hard work and graft over many years.

Really good article, he is obviously a top professional and great role model, not many players survive at one club for so long especially with the turnover of managers at Doncaster during his time there .
