Signed up for another year, will turn 40 in what will be his 17th season at Doncaster. They must love him there.

I wonder if he grew up as a Boro fan?

Always thought he looked decent when he was younger.

Coppinger is involved with Guisborough Town and fronts their academy. He attended a sports presentation night for the school and came over very level headed and a decent lad.

Coppinger started his career at Darlington before Daglish signed him for Newcastle as a 17 year old in a deal worth £500,000.

Yeah I knew he started out at Newcastle and Hartlepool on loan. To be still playing at 40 is good going.
 
Know James quite well. A very strong visioned lad who has battled demons in the past. Good luck to him and an extremely talented individual
