Henderson the box to box midfielder who has never scored for England?

He's not in the team to score goals. I personally wouldn't describe him as a box to box midfielder.
A genuine question, if Henderson is crap why do you think that Klopp one of the best managers in the world and a fantastic judge of players has discarded pretty much every other player from when he took over but has made Henderson one of the most important players in one of the worlds best teams of the last few years?

He is not absolutely crap, I didn't actually post that.
What I actually posted on the Declan Rice thread is that he was absolutely crap last night for England and on another thread I said I thought he was awful last night.

England played pretty well first half last night, moving the ball quicker and better with more purpose and menace.
I thought they were awful in the second half. Ponderous, predictable and slow. The major change was Henderson on.
He played so many sideways and backwards passes and failed to complete forward passes. It is what I see from him all the time.
In my opinion he is a poor passer of the ball and has no vision. I think we have much better footballers to play for England. I think others are better in the holding role, in a box to box role, in wider roles, in number 10. He isn't best in any role, so wouldn't play for me.

I don't care why Klopp plays him for Liverpool really and why he hasn't replaced him. That is not to say I don't respect him. I don't see why Klopp loving him means he should play for England anyway.
I wouldn't have taken Alexander-Arnold either (though feel for the lad being ruled out once selected). Klopp loves him too, but I think we have better right backs and wouldn't play him for England.

Sadly his number one fan appears to be Southgate. His England caps have come under Roy Hodgson and Gareth Southgate, both extremely cautious managers.
