Jack Draper

Impressive. Nice to have another world class British player finally.

Norrie looked like he’d kick on but has fallen off a cliff.

I always felt like Norrie was maximising his ability (nothing wrong with that). Had no big weapons, but was awkward to play against, supremely fit and mentally tough. Think he also played a lot of tournaments, which helped his ranking.

Draper has far more potential.

Looks like a genuine British Wimbledon challenger this year. But sadly the drugs cheat will be nice and fresh after his custom made ban so he'll probably win it

His 6’4 lefty serve is an absoloute nightmare to deal with and he has a good all round game. I can't imagine there is anyone in the world who will enjoy playing against him when he is fit.

Norrie was very fortunate with the draw when he won Indian Wells. His ceiling I agree much lower than Drapers. Also a bit of a plastic Brit if we're honest.

Truly dominated Rune in the final. Unfortunately I missed the semi final win against Alcaraz, but looks like he dug in there after a poor second set.

Good to see him up to 7th in the world hopefully ensures he can go deep in this summer’s slams building on last year’s semi final at the US and a decent run in Australia this year.

Yep, his serve is a real weapon. He's got a real chance at Wimbledon if he can stay fit.

Suppose that's the next test. He's potentially as good as anyone in a best of 3 set match.

Can he get through a fortnight of best of 5 set matches to win a slam though.

British hype train will ramp up before Wimbledon… hopefully not just to build the lad up before giving him a kicking when his form drops.
