ITV Drama - Quiz

I’ve been watching it too, quite gripping watching and better than I expected it would be too.

Think it’s been surprisingly good because of Sheen and Mark Bonner’s performances which are top drawer. Also injection of W1A style boardroom humour is also a winner.

I've enjoyed it. Interesting how they realised he was cheating before he'd even won the million.

Mind, he shot himself in the foot by one minute saying he didn't think it was a particular answer, only to then change his mind and go with that answer.

If he'd have just kept saying the options out loud and waited for the cough he might have gotten away with it.

Go on YouTube and watch the original programme that shows how they cheated etc. Really good

I’m enjoying it.
it shows how “fixed” these shows are with cliques and people calling over 300 times to get on with the same faces getting on time and time again

I remember at the time thinking why are they all seemingly from the Home Counties/south east when its supposed to be random and they all appeared quite well off as well.

So it was interesting to see the shows producers felt the same way.

Actually what the orogramme didnt depict was that apparently immediately after the show in the green room the couple had a massive argument. The theory is Diana Ingram thought he milked the drama too much and it was obvious he was listening out for a signal.

We definitely got to see a lot more of the defense case.
Last nights episode was primarily about the appearance on the show itself, with just snippets of the prosecution case. This episode was primarily the defence case throughout it all, with added scenes showing the personal abuse or attacks the Ingram's received.
The final episode felt very much like it was shown from the Ingram's and the defence lawyers point of view.

Cracking series, enjoyed it immensely. sheen is just superb, Tarrant himself has said he was critical but, after rechecking himself and speaking with friends he now acknowledges how clever Sheen was.

My only surprise was i thought it was later in the shows history than it actually was. It also suprised me how an underground community developed to cheat for an edge, yet they never thought it cheating. Humans eh!!

And unsettling in a way to think it may still go on. A body of obsessives “attacking” a tv quiz by getting clients on to shows and winning Prizes.

if ever I get in trouble I would get that defence lawyer. At one point she convinced me that they were innocent even though I knew they were found guilty.
The point that the tape was made by the producers and thus could easily have been doctored to show the coughs at the crucial times of which there were more than 190 throughout was very valid.

Plus the tape of Keppel and her coughs also valid.
Keppel has demonstrated throughout on Eggheads that she is a very average quizzer.

Totally agree with the above. I’ve seen the documentary about 3 times but never realised he reeled off most of the top questions without a cough. I think it’s his mrs coughing on the Craig David question that really questionable
