Well done LK, I know a couple of guys who took the other path (ie doing nowt about it) and it isn’t ending well for them.
Well done to you too.Well done Lemmy, and great that u are seeing so many good benefits.
I got diagnosed with diabetes 18 months ago.
Was 5ft6 and 94kg, with 36inch waist so a tad overweight.
Gave up alcohol and sugar and do an hours walk every day now.
I'm 70kg, down to size 30 waist for the first time since about 14 and never felt better.
Wish I'd done it years ago but it took the diabetes to kick me into gear.
Oh, and the diabetes has gone
How did you find it when you came off? I'm stopping the Semiglutide next week and am expecting to have to work hard to maintain (tbh my weight loss stopped at 45 pounds and I've just been maintaining for the last six weeks anyway, I don't feel that the injections are suppressing my appetite anymore).Excellent stuff. It's great when you find a way that works. I'm on the Mounjaro again after ean enforced break and want to shift another 3 stone.
I managed to stay the same weight. I definitely had more appetite and was eating more again but I wasn't going completely mad, I ate mostly healthy stuff and I still only had occasional takeaway meals and still didn't fancy anything mega-greasy like fish and chips. I'm hoping it will change my relationship with food and when I get to my target I can maintain. How did you find it when you came off? If the lazy way works for you..........3 stone down in 10 weeks, rather use the jabs than go to slimming world and let some fat knacker who doesn't know what she's talking about try to lecture me about syns when there's no such thing when eating food.
Fantastic. Done it the hard way then. More likely to stay off without jabbing chemicals into your body.Slimming World and a load of willpower.
Not had a takeaway of any description since New year. (That said, I'm absolutely gagging for Cod and chips)
I've eaten so much eggs and chicken I should be clucking.
That's my plan, I will see I guess!I managed to stay the same weight. It's not a magic medicine. I go to the gym 5x a week, started c25k after the first week and managed to complete my first ever 5k at the weekend. Proper lazy.If the lazy way works for you..........
