Had a lot of experience with first aid support for people with epilepsy. Must be frightening for young people who go through this. Thanks for making us aware.

I’m epileptic. I take 1200mg sodium valproate every day. I was 28 and one day at work started to black out going up the stairs. Made It back to my desk and then bang! Face planted the desk and had a massive seizure for 5 minutes. Body was aching for weeks. That was the start of epileptic journey! 36 now so had it 8 years
