Its appears Crooks has not had his Hernia op.

Is it just me or is that completely stupid? The bloke has been carrying a hernia issue for weeks, which has impacted his form almost to the point where he’s a hinderance rather than a help. And yet we’re told he STILL hasn’t had his operation. Just get it done, FFS!

The idea he can play through this until the World Cup break has been addressed through his form, which is way off where it was last season. It’s amateur hour at times. Or that’s how it feels anyway.

It was me who posted about Crooks last week. I know that he was 100% in Germany, and it had been spoken about him having his op there previously. I was then told that he'd had it done. I have no reason to not believe what I was told, and still think the club possibly don't want to release the info and it's easier to just mention an 'injury' with no set return date.

Maybe it was just a consultation before any planned op

I would guess he has but the club don't want people knowing if he will play or not. Fair enough as he is a pretty significant part of our way of playing.

Thats possible. It would make sense for him to have it ahead of the WC break wouldn't it? I think he'd be out around 8 weeks, maybe a touch more.

Why do some fans of the club think that rather than listen to professional medical opinions, and Crooks himself, they're determined to press ahead with some other plan of action that's not in the best interest of the player and the club ?

If he needs the hernia op, he'll have it, if he doesn't then he won't - I don't see why people are trying to guess / criticise the club based on at most 30% knowledge of the actual situation.
