It's a tad damp out

I’ll be parking up here this afternoon for run up the incline, seems to be fairing up a bit now, felt sorry for Kevin Sinfield this morning running to York in the rain 👍🏃‍♂️🥵🌧🤦‍♂️
I take my hat off to you Smelly 🎩 (y)

I was working outside in that last night on the river, awful, I take the rough with the smooth in my job, the good with the bad, but last night tested me, at times it was coming down in bucket fulls, drenched

Got well soaked with t' hound this morning even on a shortened (walk till you poop) walk. Watterproof jacket did its job, but the walking trousers were a trifle damp, so I just went to work in me pants (WFH benefit!) whilst the trousers dried on the radiator. About to venture out on the lunchtime lamppost sniff and splash, wish me luck!

I was thinking about taking the kayak out for a couple of hours today, but after driving through Seaton, not a chance.

I will have to wait for some localised flooding and be the bellend in the background kayaking down the street.

Where’s this global warming we were promised? I’ve spent years spraying Lynx Africa and smashing fridges.. this was supposed to be shorts and t-shirt weather.

An increase in global temperatures cause the air to absorb more water... hence the rain. It's been mental here today. Roads flooding, roofs leaking. Sick of it. Still got a hosepipe ban. Cheers Yorkshire Water (y)
