Its a "Muppets Christmas Carol" night tonight

The Muppets are not for me. I barely enjoyed them early 80s . Up til about 4 years ago when I lost a hard drive on my laptop I would watch National Lampoon xmas vacation. For me the funniest festive film . I've not been able to replace that download ( like for free , and in HD ) so I miss it , good old Clarkey with his final meltdown when realising he's got a subscrtiption jelly of the month club instead of the 10k or so for the pool

1-Muppets Christmas Carol
2-Elf
3-The Santa Clause(just the first one)
4-Bad Santa
5-Nativity
6- Deck the Halls
7- Fred Clause
8- Die Hard
9- Scrooged
10- Home Alone(just the first one).

These are my top 10 Christmas films but not in order of favourite(I'm still undecided if I class Die Hard as A Christmas film, but it appears on most Christmas lists)
I don't watch all of these every year but I alternate between them year on year.

My Christmas Carol/Scrooge Ratings

1. Alastair Sim
2. Patrick Stewart
3. The Muppets
4. Albert Finney (not a great film, but "Thank You Very Much" is an absolute banger)
5. Sir Seymour Hicks
6. Bill Murray
7. George C Scott
8. Reginald Owen

It was my favourite Christmas film, until I followed through whilst watching it in 2017. It’s forever tarnished now but I’ll try to enjoy it when I watch it.

Is Die Hard a Christmas film?!
Of course it ........
.....Wait a minute, I'm not opening that can of worms again.

Mine kicks off tomorrow tea time with a showing of Its a Wonderful Life at our local cinema together with glass of wine and mince pie.
Every time John McClane says 'Yippee-ki-yay Motherf*****' an angel gets their wings.
