Italy vs Turkey Match Thread

I think it will be really tight for the first 35 minutes or so. Nerves, not wanting to get off to a bad start. Ultimately I think Italy win 2-0

I'm bored already. Thousands of short passes, unmarked men passing to marked men. Dribbling seems to have disappeared entirely from football.

The commentators are trying their hardest but in truth it's hard work to get enthused about this.

Dribbling is my favourite thing, it's why Grealish would be the second name on my england teamsheet. You can have the best defensive shape ever but it counts for nothing if someone dribbles through your lines

I think Turkey are going to play this game with 7 men in the box.
I think the football authorities need to think about changing the rules. The guys playing now are great athletes but poor footballers.

How about - can't pass backwards in your half
- have to keep at least three players in the opposition half at all times
- bigger goals
- no offside until level with penalty area
- goalie can't move outside 6 yard area
