Italy v England at the San Siro

At least he may play somebody in their natural position rather than play a right sided player at LWB.

Saka is left footed tbf, and has played plenty of his career on the left.
I actually think he's played the majority of his league games on the left since his debut, just not recently.

Saka has played all his recent football with Arsenal on the right side. So it would seem sensible to me to play your resources to form. I'm watching with an Arsenal STH who also says as much.

I wouldn't have played Saka there either, I was just pointing out that he's not right footed and has experience playing on the left.

Southgate is a total charlatan of a manager. Great player, but should be no where near the England job. He failed miserably at Middlesbrough, and with the England U21 team.

Team looks largely unmotivated. Playing Saka at LWB...

don't know why I bother football is shidt isn't it 😟

The momentum of England's creative side was stalled once Bellingham got smacked in the back half way through this half. Since then it had reverted to type.
