It appears I have a hedgehog

"Things that won't do you any harm". Well that may apply now Borobarmy, but you alluded to a full back who certainly worried me when he defended for Boro.

As for not giving bread and water to hedgehog, that may my true, but I always thought that milk was a big no no.

I was expecting the hedgehog to hold the little Palm of its claw in the air 🙋

Yes dairy foods are bad so I understand . They are little foragers that will eat most things . Bit like me

You will need to keep an eye on it , they should not be out in the daytime . Would imagine it was desperate for water ,

Had a couple for weeks. Bought special hedgehog food which I leave just outside the backdoor and they come and take it each night without fail around midnight. Like clickwork. They are noisy critters too 😀

Milk is a big "no-no" hedgehogs are lactose intolerant and milk and bread could kill them.
We had one a couple of years ago and bough meal worms from Wilko's which it munched down. However hedgehogs shouldn't really be out during day so it may be worth calling the RSPCA for advice.

For all the gardeners who like hedgehogs, use egg shells round your plants instead of slug repellents. The slugs won't crawl over them and you are not poisoning the food chain.

Or beer traps.

Love hedgiepigs. Haven't seen one in our garden in years sadly. We had one that got into the Garage which I could never work out how as it is brick built with an up and over door so unless it was some kind of limbo dancin' hog? No idea so I gently evicted it. I guess quite a bit of local fauna has been struggling for water recently, hopefully we're getting a decent top up over the next few days?
