If it is then I hate being emotionally manipulated like that. (If it isn't. then that was a warm hearted piece).
These Tik Tok "stars" seem to crave attention at every opportunity to the point that they set up scenes like this.

It's a fake to get likes and attention for the content creator, the kid has set up on a cul-de-sac side of a corner house, the camera is filming before he pulls up, etc etc
The curse of social media is it has given a platform for all the talentless narcissists to exploit, we've become a world where the endorsement and validation from strangers for the false reality they project overtakes the hard work and sacrifices of making proper relationships in the real world work.
