never forget the day Mogga became manager - thought it was gonna be forever .....never really took of as he had to slash the books.

Yes but we can be so thankful he managed to turn around a club that appeared to be crash landing into 3rd Division (league one).

I didn't want Mogga to manage us, not that I didn't think he was good enough, which he certainly was, I remember going to the meeting at the Riverside Q&A session when he 1st arrived, what a legend that man is
No, my reason that when things started to turn sour section of fans woukd turn against him & they did

I just happened to be at Barnsley for that match when a section of our fans turned on Mogga at half time.

It was my worst moment as a Boro fan but you have to accept that below a certain age group the 1986 period is just something they have read or heard about and Mogga was just another manager to them. I’m sure Mowbray himself understands that.

Just on the Blackburn fanzine I thought the front cover was outstanding, well done to Rob and the contributors.

It did me too alanmoodysdog. I think HolgateCorner is right that to many of a younger generation they didn't have that special bond with Mowbray and 1986. Strange really because as a Boro fan the history of the club was always really important to me. So, even though I am not of the generation to have seen Hardwick, Mannion and Clough play I am immensely proud of what they achieved for Boro.
But Tony Mowbray is all about respect and to see fans hanging over a fence screaming hate at him from the away end at Barnsley was one of the most deflating things I have experienced as a fan.
