Isle of Wight Sea Eagle over commondale today

What an impressive sight! G639 from Isle of Wight. Flew down towards high cliff then back to commondale. At one point it was mobbed by about 30 jackdaws. Watched it for a good 20 mins..

Jackdaws look like sparrows against it, huge bird of prey.

Saw one a couple of weeks ago near Dumfries. They’re big birds!

How do you know the excact one it is?

A fellow birder contacted Roy Dennis foundation and they told him which bird it was. It has been around the area for nearly a week.

Probably be "accidentally" shot by a gamekeeper.

Jackdaws look like sparrows against it, huge bird of prey.

Might they be rooks even rather than jackdaws? Either way, white tailed eagles certainly are massive.
