Yup, bit of a weird feeling coming away slightly miffed that we only got 3.
Glad I don't support City or Barcelona. They must feel like this all the time.

so apart from searing pace, his final ball, creating goals, what's jones ever done for us?
 
even when jones was struggling for us, other team fans were raving about him. but on our forums we were all moaning about him. if we play him every game. bet he gets into double figures for assists.
 
I’ve said it all along wingers are the greatest enigma of the game, and once you have got a good one (Jones is definitely in that bracket) then you’re going to be on one of the greatest roller-coaster rides.

Seeing him destroy Hull in the second half was almost “meant to be” for me and I’m sure most Boro fans. More to come from Jones who is a nailed on starter v Luton.

Yes I was sure Akpom was taken out. Penna for me, although Chuba had been short-changed by the ref all night long. As a side note it’s about time they ditched that yellow card rule on a goal scorer taking off his/her shirt after scoring.
