20k posts is child's play for an internet forum. First posts in here were January 2020 so 3 years worth of posts so 18 per day: some people make lots of posts per night especially on match days or busy topics so easily done

The biggest reason why there's no bots on here is that it's a bit of a "closed shop" in terms of joining and being able to post. I think Rob keeps a keen eye on people signing up, as we struggled with idiots (not bots, just idiots) previously.

Yes we do try and filter out a fair amount at the door

Look out for double posts... a sure sign of a bot. They also like to deny their own existence.

Not sure if that term is absolutely correct, but effectively AI, don’t know what purpose these things serve but I know it’s a real thing. Noticed a few usernames with over 20k posts, that to me seems unfathomable and mind blowing, which got me to thinking if maybe this site has these bots? And if so, why?
