To be honest, yes that is acceptable, albeit a little madWhat if it is a starter from one restaurant, main course from another and dessert from a third? Presumably that's ok if <£50.

It would be wrong of me to question such a thingThree 12 inch pizzas in one sitting is impressive. Is she single?
Tell her she's too fat and you're rejecting the expenses for her own good, you've got to be cruel to be kind sometimesAbsolutely not! Nor is it to just to cause a reaction.
We have 15 Americans on the project and 14 of them follow the rules exactly how they should be. I have been put in a position of having to accept the expenses or reject them and give my reasons for rejection. If it’s an obvious reason to reject then I’m quite happy to reject, however this is a tricky one
Fair enough mate. Just seemed a bit strange that you felt the need to say that she was an American lady. Some of my best friends are Americans and that whole 'ha ha ha, aren't all Americans fat?' thing really irritates them.Absolutely not! Nor is it to just to cause a reaction.

This is in numerous different restaurant and locations over the course of a monthMaybe she has struck a little deal with the restaurant, a pizza and a couple of bottles of wine but put it all down as food?
Ah right, scratch that one then.......it is a delicate one but she is abusing expenses, that is for sure. This is in numerous different restaurant and locations over the course of a month
Yeah, maybe the American mention was unnecessary. However their eating habits are different to the Brits and they have a culture of taking leftovers home with them after a dinner. That’s more what I was getting atFair enough mate. Just seemed a bit strange that you felt the need to say that she was an American lady. Yep, alcohol is also prohibited at my company. There was two occasions where she also bought Pringles and chocolate brownies but still stayed under the £50I can spend as much as I like on food on my expense account providing I don't expense alcohol. No one would ever question me providing I don't go over my per diem 250 per day. They certainly wouldn't question how many times I eat during a day.
I was once asked to pay back 3.50 for a pint of lager with my dinner a year after the claim was settled.
Just for herself, all of her colleagues have the same deal so no need to buy for anyone elseWe’re they just for her or was she entertaining 2 other people each evening?
when I was younger I was on 7 full meals per day - couldn’t fill me. Mind they were paid for out of my own pocket rather than expenses.
You were only that hungry because you were 'entertaining' two other people each evening you randy old b***r.We’re they just for her or was she entertaining 2 other people each evening?

My employer slipped up and never gave the guys the expense guidelines so In some respects we maybe screwed. This makes it unfair on our own people though who don’t have such a perkGet the receipts for each day. If each day comes to less than £50 then pay them. If a single day with 'all meals' added together comes to more than £50 then just pay the £50 and tell her to pay the rest.
I think you need to explain how your expenses system works.
Yes it would be allowed provided I ate it before travelling home. If I am away for a couple of weeks I sometimes get an apartment and cook my own food.Yep, alcohol is also prohibited at my company. In terms of keeping it under £50, does that mean you could go and buy £50 worth of meat from a butchers and that would be allowed?
The whole thread is fishyIs this in the UK, if so where are these restaurants open ?
Staying in a hotel is usually room service only, otherwise are they take aways.
To order 3 meals sounds as though she may be entertaining others in her room or house.
Sounds very fishy to me
