It’s been red hot here the last few days but slightly cooler now 26• and sat without a shirt on. We had a thunderstorm last night and all the electricity went off. A lot of the French camp with just household extension leads and they trip when they get wet. I am always wary about going near them after what happened to a good friend of ours on here - god bless his soul.

Forecast thunder again tonight and rain until 1pm French time tomorrow.

Highest we've had in the outer villages of Darlo was 24.5 in the last week whilst most of the country broilled.
In fact for two days it was below 20 - not feeling too hard done by though as I cannot stand being cooked in bed of a night.
