Will be interesting to see what happems.
Where we have had strict lockdowns (Wales and Tier 3) people have been really good. 20% uplift in booze and that’s about it.

I do seek forgiveness today tho - bought 2 sourdough loaves instead of 1 from my local bakery.

Bake your own, once you’ve got your starter sorted it’s easy, and something to do during lockdown.

Everything fine in Herefordshire - No one starved to death to my knowledge in April which might have reassured people. There are also better food home delivery services going now such as meals on wheels type set ups.

Wife just told me one of her friends had been to Tesco Ingleby and it was "chaos".

As I understand it the supermarkets will stay open anyway.

Mrs Jumpers has just text me from the "queue outside Waitrose" which is scenes we haven't seen since the first lockdown - looks like people will be fighting over toilet rolls again.

As per usual here in Newmarket, chaos at Tesco, calm and decorum in Waitrose. There is a large percentage of our population who are really bloody stupid.

Just been to Tesco Redcar, whilst not utter bedlam it was getting there. I had a basket with bits and bobs for the weekend, but there were a lot of people with heaving trolleys. I expect it to reach panic levels soon.

So unnecessary but so predictable.

You are safe in one with all the measures they have in place anyways.

The missus took something back to Sainsbury in town, out her head in the Hill St centre and turned back straight away.

People must be stocking up on cheap t shirts from Primark ready for the winter.
