Is Farage dangerous or incompetent?

Incompetent based on yesterday's half thought through stunt.

There are few things more harmful to a politician than ridicule. It's better to be seen as nasty or dishonest (tick, tick) than as a joke (also now tick).

The other parties have easily outmanoeuvred him by refusing to engage with his tantrum, and now he'll be left going through a charade of contesting a by-election against nobody (or Count Binface).

It will be such a ripe target for everyone to take the ****.

Are you ok there Nigel, won't anyone else come out to play?
Hope you're not feeling too lonely stood over there on your own?
How's campaigning going, do you think you have a chance of winning?
He’s starting to look desperate.

Whilst some Reform diehards won’t worry about that, the natural Tory element will run back to Kemi.

He’s done, it’s a matter of time.

possible but surely even the Reform voters are smart enough to see how silly Farage looks in an anti establishment poll going against the ultimate anti establishment candidate called Count Binface, but who kn
Reform voters have been portrayed as thick racists. Why would they care

Can he get any more votes than last time, i doubt it, as you say lowe will throw everything at it, so could take 10-20% of votes away, add to that they will be some who voted for him that have since changed their mind due to his disappearing act, and as much as I hate to say it tories have hit rock bottom and could take another 10% away from him. Add tactical voting into the mix and he might just be in trouble

Thats the problem. They dont care about a lot of things.

It's all playing out like the MAGA doctrine, and Trump's USA, here in the UK with Farage. Politics, in almost every country around the globe, is in a perpetual state of chaos and stabilty in the west is now just a dream.

Even Talksports news readers have been quite damning of him, it’s usually quite pro right and reform friendly.

He's well and truly been hung by his own petard here.

He's left in a 2 way battle between a comedy character with no serious policies and Count Binface.

Come on Clacton you have the chance to do something so funny and write yourselves into the history books for eternity! Don't let us down!

It's not beyond the realms of possibility

That’s a massive generalisation and probably the reason why politics is broken
"Massive generalisation" Accusing reform voters of racist tendencies is not a generalisation. It's a salient point. If, for example, when they are interviewed on the streets they had policies/ideas that they could profer to help improve the country other than "stop the boats" then maybe we could have an adult discussion with them?

Its going to provide some good comedy certainly.

And of course this is a man who "doesn't find comedy funny" so is particularly ill equipped to stand up to it.

The NF got 46.2% of the Clacton vote in the GE.
That’s potentially 53.8% votes for the Binman, and that’s assuming no Reform voters have changed their view.

It’s a generalisation backed by observation,

Unless you are rich, own a private healthcare company or are racist, what do reform have to offer you?

I mean what are the general population facing if Reform took control of our government?

Huge medical bills, Less worker rights, Less paid holidays, less pay just for a start.
