Is a vegitarian sausage a sausage?

Are you a sausage man?

Bit personal that?

I’m a carnivore. I live off meat and fish. I have sausages for dinner tonight but she’s at work so I’ll have to eat all 8.

Love a sausage sandwich cooked on my stove whilst out fishing. Can see the other anglers looking at you in envy as the smell wafts across the lake whilst they tuck into their cold cheese roll.

I'm a veggie myself. True, there are some rubbish sausages on the market, Linda McCartney's being the worst, I'm sorry to say. Morrisons stocked a 'Like Meat' variety until recently that were quite nice.

Went to a BBQ at a mates house in the summer, had a sausage which was one of the best I've ever tasted. I asked him what it was and he just said, oh one of those veggie one the wife likes.

You could have knocked me down with a feather! o_O

Bane of my life, these things.
Daughter is a veggie and I have bought every concoction known to man.
All taste like sawdust in a condom.
Tried to hide them in a sausage casserole, they still got discovered and discarded,

We did a taste test at home recently (fun with the kids :)) of several kinds of sausage.

Conclusion: sausages from the local farm shop are way better than anything you can get in the supermarket, no surprise really!

That's why you pay so much more for them, despite the middle man being cut out. More care taken over their production.
