Is 1 assist from your number 10 good enough?

His interview filled me with happiness.
A poster posted the article about him basically saying 'Wilder said he wants his own players but he doesn't wanna give a kid a chance'
The moment he knew the tide was turning was QPR when the fans chanted his name.
I cant think of a player more deserving of the adulation, the love and the unbelievable turnaround. The moment that sticks in my mind was the 3-0 away at Blackpool, when he broke down as he celebrated in front of the fans. I think he finally realised he'd found a 'Home'
Of all the strikers who've donned our shirt, an outcast of the Greek league, unwanted by 2 experienced managers has become the best.

Now let's go get that Premier League place so he can write another incredible chapter in the book of his resurgence!

AP was dispatched abroad by NW, he came back, obviously CW wasn't sure about him, like everyone on here, but it was CW who gave him another chance this season. If he had of played a young player like he could have done, CA would probably have left.

Here is what the article actually says.

Then, before Middles- brough's final pre-season friendly, against Marseille, Akpom was called in by Wilder for another chat. "Look we're struggling for numbers," the manager said. "Instead of playing a young player, like I could have done, I'll give you a run-out."

Akpom played for only half an hour, but did well. He remembers: "After the ready." game he said, 'It's all-in with me, you've been good in training, you did well, let's work from here.' Against all odds, he was picked for the first game of the season against West Bromwich Albion.

I think we have a small thank you to give to Yaya Sanogo for failing his Boro medical late Aug 20. They way I remember it is Choobs name wasn't around our transfer news until the Sanogo deal was dead and it was released to the press that the medical failed. It went quiet as Sanogo was isolating in Rockliffe for 2 weeks but the club prob knew well before annoucing it wasnt gonna happen. Even then it was another 7-12 days I think before Choobs signed. The way I see it we were only really in for 1 senior fwd to complement Britt and Ashley , therefore leaving 1 or 2 spots for a loan or an academy mix. Obviously after that its all down to Choobs and mental resilience and belief after being sent out back to PAOK and also early treatment from Wilder. If I'm wrong it doesn't matter , Choobs is our most recent club record breaker and what a one to break !! Where's the McWhirter twins when you need them ?

Was the headline It's A No Go For Sanogo?
*Gets coat*

Slightly detailing the post. Noticed I think for chubas 2nd how archer moved CB around made a touch dragged players out of position b4 Giles cross.. not a stat that is recorded but definitely played a role in his 2nd..

Dam lies n statistics

Archer’s movement is top class we should be going all out to get him on our books.
