Intermittent Fasting/Weight Loss

After 90 mins this morning just hit 83 kg for second time this week.
Rewarded myself with a huge wedge of vanilla ice cream and fruit salad.
Am flipping boiling(y)

I was meant to play golf today but after walking the dog and cutting the grass I've decided against it, it's so humid! Didn't fancy being sweaty for three hours, so going to out on the bike and be sweaty for an hour instead.

I definitely do need to get back to Vietnam mate. I'm literally waiting for that border to open and I'm offskis.

It's really hard to eat and drink here like over there. You crave water there cause of the heat. The local fresh beer is weirdly low cal, nothing but the basic ingredients in there. Seemingly can drink 8 glasses of it a few times a week and still lose weight.

The food is freshly cooked for you for £2 a meal? And is usually very balanced and well portioned.

Never bother having stuff in the fridge to snack on over there either whereas here the fridge is always full of rubbish (not mine) and the house reverts to takeaways too easily. I'm a rubbish cook too in all honesty.

Going to move to Florence next month though and try and spend a few months cycling in Tuscany hills until the border opens.
What is the beer called?

What is the beer called?

It's called bia hoi. It's brewed fresh daily without preservatives so it goes bad within 24/48 hours. All sit on little schools often on the side of the road, served in distinctive green recycled glasses and about 3% ABV. Served best ice cold.

I tried this stuff, it's good. It looks a bit funny, almost plastic like, and doesn't have a strong taste but it definitely makes you feel like you're having cheese, without having the full calories of normal cheese (it's about half).

On thing I did notice, is that when I went back and tried the 30% less fat stuff, it tasted like the best thing ever (much better than before). I don't think I'll ever go back to needing normal cheddar.

So basically now I'm going to cut down my cheese portion sizes to half what they once were, and have this stuff at half the calories, so overall that's about 25% of the calories.(y)

It melts okay too. Glad it helps

I find repetitive exercise really boring, to the extent where even reading this thread tires me.

What daily exercise would you recommend to trim the final few pounds (maybe 5lb)? I’m slim already really. Something that takes 2-3 minutes max each day, and not outdoors?

Burpees, Star Jumps, Press Ups, Sit Ups, Squats

You might not lose any weight but you will swap fat for muscle pretty quick.

Or you could just stick to a 1000 calorie deficit per day, for two weeks, that would pretty much do it.

I’ll give it a shot with the exercise, and go for intense but not time consuming ones. Thanks.

I tend to eat reasonably healthily. Home cooking mostly and I don’t drink, but I don’t like the idea of ‘wasting away’ to achieve my aim.

Update:
I wont speak for anyone else but Ive found the following guidelines and routine continue to work for me:
* Grown out of eating bread - by chance not intention.
* Stacks of vegetables and salad, without cutting out grilled steak and chicken breast.
* Gone are the biscuits, cakes, processed sandwiches and pastry from the shops.
* Always have a double vanilla or strawberry protien shake immediately after exercise.
* I`ve stop buying frozen processed food - it is mostly salt and fat.
* Spuds replaced with rice and pulses.
* I drink stacks of squash but not juices - because they are high in sugars
* Keep the exercise daily and push the boundaries to build strength and power.
* Keep going till the sweat pours down your face.
* I can tackle two hours endurance training better now than a month ago - start to flag now in the last 20 and pace through the training.
* Weight is now averaging 83.4 kg with a total of 3X83 kg in the last 8 days.
Vary daily training from 75 mins - 120 - 90 - 60 - 90 - 120 +
* Use training videos such as GCN and CTX
