Interesting but largely useless facts

PS As official judge on this thread I've decided that Wilf wins it with his simple fact 'An Octopus has 3 hearts'

I had to Google it and he is in fact correct. Bonkers that like !!!

well done folks, reading Reading, never thought of that one same with slough and Slough, who knew the english language was littered with these.

Nobby, Nobby, Nobby my 9 brains fact about octopus was much more interesting than 3 hearts, jeez Doctor Who has 2 hearts so it's not all that rare is it

OK, Ok it's a draw between Wilf and Laughing

Both with amazing facts about Octopus !

Chicken that's £50 each they get, cough up

The judge gets £50 aswell btw...

I am going to attempt to be the outright winner here with a fact. Mike the headless chicken lived for 18 months without a head. He lived because most of a chickens brain activity is in the stem, which is why they run around after having their heads chopped off. He was fed with a pippette full of ground corn down his throat. He eventually choked to death.

He was one of the USA's highest earners for a 12 month period and his head was on display with him whilst he toured, but it wasn't his head as the cat ate it.

Winner winner chicken dinner!
