India, Corona stats could surge

There just seems to be no let up, you turn one page & it seems there could be a bit of an upturn with good news then turn the page & awful news
 
if anyone has been to places like northern India, midlands of Africa will know how much these numbers mean nothing.. and it really does pain me to say that but holy hell this will hit hard. We stayed for a while in north Delhi and lots of African cities. there is no controlling this, even with Indian locking down 1.3 BILLION people.. unreal numbers.. and I know absolutely jack *****.. but I do know this is far worse in these countries than me being "locked down, having a lunchtime wander in boro" than anything. I was one of the people mocking this weeks ago, but now this is truly unreal. Stay safe and just don't go out unless you REALLY need to
 
I'm coming to the conclusion that this virus can't be controlled, even if we manage to limit the spread in the UK for a while. As soon as flights from other countries start again bang it's back.
 
That is the major worry Nobby, I can't see it either, we can't allow traffic in to the UK until a virus has been found, if one can
 
Vaccine needed asap,
Herd immunity, will be needed until then.. if that is in reality possible.. sickest most vulnerable kept safe..

Will it hit again once restrictions are lifted.. China may be a good place to watch..

Poorest will be hit hardest, as usual.. I can imagine hunger in India & Africa being an even bigger threat.
